Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo not too long ago tackled a follower, who referred to her as “child”.

The journalist had taken to her Twitter account on Sunday to hope for her followers.

Acknowledging the considerate gesture, one among her followers commented; “amen… Love you child.”

Reacting to the remark, Olunloyo clamped down closely on the fan, noting that the phrase “child” is disrespectful and may solely be used for one’s companion or partner.

Within the now-deleted tweet, she wrote;

“Don’t tackle me as a child…it’s disrespectful. I’m not relationship you nor do I do know you. It’s “love you ma’am.” I hope I made myself clear. These of you that talk like this, cease it instantly. I stated a prayer, you’ve stated Amen. Love you ma’am.”

“It’s Disrespectful. Nigerian males do it so much at house. Cease making an attempt to be American. They use it for his or her lovers and spouses. Cease calling ladies you aren’t in a relationship with “child”. Take corrections.”
