Niger Directs Schools To Reopen From Monday

Niger State Authorities has introduced that public faculties within the state are to reopen from Monday.

Commissioner for Training, Hannatu Salihu, made this announcement on Saturday.

She introduced that faculties with day college students will resume on March 29, whereas boarding secondary faculties in city areas will reopen on April 6.

Recall that faculties have been shut for shut to 2 months following assaults on studying establishments within the north — together with the kidnap of 27 college students from the Authorities Science School, Kagara, Niger state on February 10.

Within the assertion on Saturday, the commissioner added that faculties have been directed to ascertain safety groups to make sure security inside studying environments.

“All public day secondary faculties are to reopen on Monday, March 29, 2021. All boarding secondary faculties in city areas are to reopen on Tuesday, April 6, 2021,” the assertion reads.
