Back in April, Nintendo of America was named along with contract company Aston Carter in a National Labor Relations Board filing, where an “unnamed employee” claimed his legally protected right to unionize had been violated.

Nintendo released an official statement at the time explaining how the contractor was “terminated for disclosure of confidential information” and expressed how it is “committed” to providing a welcoming and supportive work environment for employees and contractors.

Now, in an update, a second complaint has been filed against Nintendo and its rental company. According to Axios, the National Labor Relations Board received the complaint on Monday. Here is a summary:

“It is alleged that the companies have implemented “coercive rules” and in some way retaliated, discharged or disciplined the employee for doing protected work and others.”

Nintendo and Aston Carter did not share a response to this. It is expected to take weeks to months before the board decides whether it has enough evidence to support the case, which could lead to a settlement or a hearing.
